Pre/amble : A Two Day Festival of Art and Psychogeography. November 1 - 2, 2003 at the Western Front. Pre/amble takes as a starting point the exploration of the city, an interest in dialogue surrounding methods of psychogeography, and the intersection of psychogeography with contemporary art practices.

PING

PING uses a telephone menu system to distribute active commands to participants who call in using cellular telephones. The choices made by the caller when navigating the telephone system produce directions for physical movement through the city. PING is written and programmed by Kate Armstrong. PING is supported by the Canada Council for the Arts.

imageWord.not_a_pipe is media & dance collaboration with Evann Siebens, Mathieu Borysevicz, Yannis Adoniou and Kate Armstrong. Visually inspired by Magritte, the installation / performance, which uses motion sensors and live image mixing, was part of the Monaco Dance Forum December 11-15, 2002 and was presented by Frankfurt Ballet at Bockenheimer Depot March 23, 2003.
The Last Dark Day

The Last Dark Day by Kate Armstrong & Michael Tippett is the story of a Magnum P.I. enthusiast struggling to find light in a world of darkness.
